HOW MUCH MOLARITY OF STANDARD CONCENTRATED ACIDS (Hydrochloric Acid) AND FORMULA TO MEASURE THEM

HOW MUCH MOLARITY OF STANDARD CONCENTRATED ACIDS (Hydrochloric Acid)
AND FORMULA  TO MEASURE THEM
Following Values are Required of concentrated solutions  :
Molecular Formula
Molecular Weight
Assay or Purity of Acid
Weight per ml of Acid

Formula:-                 1000ml x Wt.per ml x Purity of Conc. Solution
                                                    Molecular weight x 100
                                   = ? M

Example :- For Conc.Hydrochloric Acid
Following Values are Required of concentrated solutions  :
Molecular Formula                       = HCl
Molecular Weight                         = 36.461
Assay or Purity of Compound    = 36.0%w/w
Weight per ml of compound      = 1.18

Put the given values in following formula
Formula:-                 1000ml x Wt.per ml x Purity of Conc. Solution
                                                    Molecular weight x 100
                               = ? M
                               =    1000ml x 1.18 x  36.0
                                            36.461 x 100
                               = 11.65 M
Concentrated Hydrochloric Acid is about 11.65M
11.65M                 = 1000 ml Conc.Hydrochloric Acid
For 1M                  = 1000 ml Conc.Hydrochloric Acid
                                                     11.65

                               = 85.84 ml Conc.Hydrochloric Acid Required
