HOW MUCH MOLARITY OF STANDARD CONCENTRATED ACIDS (Sulphuric Acid) AND FORMULA TO MEASURE THEM

HOW MUCH MOLARITY OF STANDARD CONCENTRATED ACIDS (Sulphuric Acid)
AND FORMULA  TO MEASURE THEM
Following Values are Required of concentrated solutions  :
Molecular Formula
Molecular Weight
Assay or Purity of Acid
Weight per ml of Acid
Formula:-                 1000ml x Wt.per ml x Purity of Conc. Solution
                                                    Molecular weight x 100
                                   = ? M

Example :- For Conc. Sulphuric Acid
Following Values are Required of concentrated solutions  :
Molecular Formula                       = H2SO4
Molecular Weight                         = 98.079
Assay or Purity of Compound     = 98.0%w/w
Weight per ml of compound        = 1.84

Put the given values in following formula
Formula:-                 1000ml x Wt.per ml x Purity of Conc. Solution
                                                    Molecular weight x 100
                               = ? M
                               =    1000ml x 1.84 x  98.0
                                            98.079 x 100
                               = 18.38 M
Concentrated Sulphuric Acid is about 18.38M
18.38M                 = 1000 ml Conc.Sulphuric Acid
For 1M                 = 1000 ml Conc.Sulphuric Acid
                                                     18.38
                              = 54.40 ml Conc.Sulphuric Acid Required
